Plot

Adam allows Samus to cooperate in their assignment, under the condition that she obey his orders and extend from using specific weapons and equipment until he prohibits them. He requests Samus to Obtain the Exam Center in Sector 1. On her journey through the tropical place, she encounters a tiny, furry creature that begins to follow .

Samus later reaches on the Exam Center, and locates James Pierce doing some thing below the desk of the chief computer. Midway to her hunt for the Mystery Creature in Sector 3, Samus is redirected to the icy Sector 2 to look for survivors. While there, she discovers the body of Maurice Favreau and places a young woman in the Materials Storehouse, that flees. Samus provides chase and tries to talk down the woman. Samus destroys the device, but the operator escapes.

Returning to Sector 3, Samus concludes that there is a traitor within the 07th Platoon, and nicknames him”the Deleter” until she finds his true identity. Back in Sector 3, Samus experiences Anthony. He describes that he was sent to start the magma-eruption port at the Geothermal Power Plant, together with the rest of the Platoon. However, not one of the comrades showed up at the rendezvous point. Parting out of Anthony, Samus continues until she discovers the empty husk of the lizard creature. Samus enters the dimly lit Geothermal Power Plant and reunites with Anthony. The monster, today winged, ambushes them. Samus, confronting it opens the magma-eruption port and brings light into the space. Reception

Early reviews of the game were mostly favorable, with a few negative/mixed testimonials.
